Developed under the Biotechnology Specialized Organized Industrial Zone (BİOSB), this project portfolio presents an integrated transformation model focused on digitalization, sustainability, and circular economy across industrial and agricultural ecosystems.
AI-Powered Digital Twin Platform
An AI-powered digital twin platform for industrial zones integrating energy, water, and emissions data. Provides carbon & water footprint calculations, scenario analysis, and LCA-integrated sustainability decision support — aligned with CSRD and CBAM regulations.
Smart Agriculture & Resource Optimization
Integrates AI, sensor data, Copernicus satellite data, and LCA to optimize resource use in agricultural production — targeting 25% water savings, 20% fertilizer reduction, and 15% carbon reduction. Pilot at BIOSB site.
Biotechnological Protein Production
Converts agro-industrial by-streams (sunflower meal, brewer's grains, etc.) into high-value plant proteins through fermentation and enzymatic processes. Evaluated at pilot scale for technical feasibility, environmental impact, and commercialization potential.
Circular Bioeconomy & Vertical Farming
Transforms agricultural waste into bio-fertilizers and biostimulants through fermentation for use in vertical farming systems. Aims to convert waste into value-added inputs, increase vertical farming efficiency, and establish a circular production model.
High-Value Investment Program
A Biotechnology Industrialists Association initiative targeting domestic production of critical intermediate products in biotech and chemistry. Positioned under "Vertical Complementary Investments in the Value Chain" to strengthen Türkiye's strategic production capacity.
Digital Twin & Sustainability Center (KOSGEB)
An innovation center developing digital twin, carbon-water footprint, and LCA-based sustainability solutions for OIZ companies — providing incubation & acceleration, technical infrastructure, and data & analytics services to startups.
AI-Powered Smart Agriculture & Digital Twin Platform
An AI-powered digital platform to be deployed within BİOSB under real agricultural conditions, simultaneously optimizing water consumption and carbon footprint. IoT sensors and Copernicus satellite data continuously monitor soil moisture, microclimate, and production parameters analyzed via digital twin models — delivering real-time, data-driven irrigation recommendations and ISO-compliant carbon footprint reporting.
